Everything Made in Japan

A Japanese man was in a hurry to go to the KLIA airport, so he took a Proton taxi. The taxi driver took his sweet time driving within the speed limit but the Jap was getting impatient.

The following is their conversation on the way to the airport.

A Toyota Camry overtook the taxi.....zoom....

Japanese : Look ...look ... Toyota !! ...very fast!!!.... made in Japan !
Proton...no good.... made in Malaysia .

Driver : yah lah .....

After a few minutes a Nissan overtook the taxi....zoom.

Japanese : look.... look.... Nissan !!!..... very good !! very fast! made in Japan ! Proton.... no good.... made in Malaysia

Driver: yah lah....yah lah...

After a few minutes a Honda overtook the taxi...zooom. !

Japanese : look.... look... Honda!!.... very GOOD!!....very fast!!....made in Japan ! Proton...no good...made in Malaysia

Driver: yah...yah...yah....!

Arriving at the airport,the Japanese is about to pay the taxi driver.

Japanese : How much?

Driver: RM150/-

Japanese : Oh... very expensive..... you overcharge !!!

Driver: Noooo .... look .... look .... Sony meter!!!....very good!!!.....
very fast!!!.... Made in Japan !!!

"TM plans to roll out the service by 2012, offering surfing speeds of 2Mbps to 1Gbps." The star online, Friday, 2nd January.

Just say if you download an episode of Heroes, probably ranged around 350Megabytes(MB).

So with full 2Mbps speed, in computing calculation you will get 256Kilobytes(KB) per second (2Mbps x 1024 / 8 = 256KB) or 0.256Megabytes per second.

Means you need around ([350MB/0.256MB] / 60 seconds) 22 ~ 25 minutes, to finish downloading an episode of Heroes. That if with full speed of 2Mbps.

1Gbps = 1024 Mbps

1Gbps is 512 times (1024/2 = 512) faster than 2Mbps!!!

So to download an episode of Heroes with full 1Gbps speed you only need ([25min/512] x 60) around 3 minutes.

WOW!!! 3 minutes to download an episode of Heroes.

Imagine download a mp3 song just less than a second...
