The message she gave, it's so encouraging, touching to the point of tearing. Tisu please... sob sob... T_T

Thought

Got this email from colleague, I usually don't really like to read forwarded email, especially some lengthy emails, but this email caught my attention. Something to think about, here it goes...

A well-known speaker started off his seminar by:

holding up a $20.00 bill In the room of 200, he asked,

'Who would like this $20 bill?'

Hands started going up.

He said,

'I am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this.'

He proceeded to
crumple up the $20 dollar bill .

He then asked,

'Who still wants it?'

Still the hands were up in the air.

Well, he replied,

'What if I do this?'

And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty.

'Now, who still wants it?'

Still the hands went into the air.

'My friends, we have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value.
'

'It was still worth $20. '

Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way.

We feel as though we are worthless.

But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value.

Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased,
you are still priceless to those who DO LOVE you.

Especially God.

If God brings you to it.

He will bring you through it.

The banana test

Got this email from Siew Mei...

The pisang test...

####################################

There is a very, very tall coconut tree and there are 4 animals,
a Lion, a Chimpanzee, a Giraffe, and a Squirrel, who pass by.
They decide to compete to see who is the fastest to get a banana off
the tree.

Who do you guess will win?

ur answer will reflect your personality.

So think carefully . . . Try and answer within 30 seconds

Got your answer?

Now scroll down to see the analysis.

If your answer is:

Lion = you're dull.

Chimpanzee = you're a moron.

Giraffe = you're a complete idiot.

Squirrel = you're just hopelessly stupid.

A COCONUT TREE DOESN'T HAVE BANANAS!!!

####################################

PISANG PENGSAN!!!
I feel so the brainless now...

Cursing & blessing.

One of my colleague who joined same time with me, got his ING Insurans/Medical card from the HR department almost a month earlier than me.

Usually you will need to collect it once the HR emailed you, but my colleague got the mail and I didn't, plus we both enter the company the same time.

So I went and ask, they said I need to wait for the mail.

Then again I was thinking no harm tho, even I don't have the card. Will only use it when I'm sick, but... who want to get sick? I don't want to get sick, my task will be overflowing like "honey" if I took MC. T_T

Finally got my email to collect the medical card last Friday & was very excited!!!

It looks orangy (Joanna Khoo you sure like it wan =P)

But then again... nothing much to be excited about.
Not I'm going to use it btw.
I don't want to get sick!

BUT then...

Guess what???

I'm down with the "triple" killer virus...

on the following week!!!

Sore throat, flu and fever/cold!!!

Mangkuk betul, so "timely"

FAINT!!!

Thank God for the orangy card , if not I have to dig out from my own wallet with the total amount of= RM...

RM 42!!! for some antibiotics, cough mixture and flu pills. =_="""

So no choice have to take...

"Surat sakit', direct translation -sick letter-... lol

But well beside feeling weak, sick & worrying about my task will be overflowing like "honey" the next day in office... There's also blessing to it too:
  1. The company still paid me to sleep at home and do nothing... ngek ngek... free ca$h huh?
  2. Got to do my own stuff, especially buying a new LCD monitor for myself, since my sis's using my current monitor now... their monitor kaput d... Thank God dad paid half for the new LCD monitor, if not I need to borrow from loan shark...
  3. New colour printer too since my sis's colour printer also kaput... blame them for not taking care of it ... hehe...

GOSH!!! I will stay in my room more often now...

I don't mind falling sick again next time after all... free ca$h and lovely LCD monitor...

lol just kidding, I don't want to get sick anytime soon.

Ready 1..2.. Smile!!!

Graduation ceremony is around the mamak corner.

Went to uni to collect my gown robe for the convocation. After collecting it, there this 'rule and regulation' paper thing for you to read.

Basically it contains information such as which room to gather, what time to be there and etc. The interesting part is this...

(Click on picture for clearer view)

If you see properly on point 4.4 and 4.5, the part they mentioned:

4.4 Shake hands with the Guest of Honour/Chancellor &....

4.5 Walk towards the University representative who will present the degree folder to you. Remember to look at the camera...

I was 'smiling' when I read this in front of the person who gave this piece of paper to me...lol

By the way it's once in a life time event, so I shall give my best smile to the camera and to my parents who has been supporting me all this day...SMILE!!!

April are you fool?

I like the tune of this song,
acoustic Hawaiian style... hoho...

Imagine you had a friend name called April. So every year 1st of April you will always call her a fool... lol...

By the way this morning (1st of April) was raining heavily like tigers cats and dogs.

As usual woke up like a zombie from resident evil movie, except the part where they bite the human.

So yah, did the usual morning routine, bangun pagi, gosok gigi, makan loti... then beli belah go office...

F.Y.I (for your informasi - we use that often in e-mail), the thing I dislike the most is receiving e-mails, because everyday 24/7 you will be receiving e-mails from client/user/customer/human.

So... I on my desktop... on outlook... haiyo!!! banyak emails. It usually take 1-2hours the fastest to clear up all the emails, replying-lah, assit-lah, advice-lah, this lah that lah and banyak-banyak-lah...lol.

THEN!!!... my colleague... she is in the control & monitoring team, something like monitor everyones task/job/duty and etc... so she said "EH Jimmy, your DW (Digital Workflow) application got problem lar... all the task/case you completed got problem... they all sent emails regarding the DW problem"

I was like ... from sleepy face ... (-_-)... to... (O_O)..."serious ah??!!!? send me the email (gosh another email another suffering... lol)"... habis lah there goes my career dalam longkang besar.

Then I opened the mail....

APRIL FOOL!!!

=_=.... GRRR, mangkuk sudu garpu betul!!!
