Guarding

Guarding our heart is an essential task or whatever we define it.

Of course we should guard our heart in every circumstances, but...

There is always a 'but' right?

Are we guarding our heart so much so that because of the feeling called 'inferiority', feeling small and useless among the people around us, so we just keep guarding our heart so hard from others?

Or guarding our heart because of 'ego', wanting to feel superior by "guarding" our so call unknown weaknesses from others, worrying so much about how badly a person will think of us that we thought it will damage our "reputation"?

Above are just example from one extreme to another.

It's good to set boundary in our hearts,
but how much?
& how far?

Izzit because of fear we guard our heart?
or because for the right reason?

Often we told to be transparent/honest/truthful/etc...
& the list goes on...

But are we? How it is possible if we are so called 'guarding' our heart so hard, either to one extreme or vice versa?

Most of us (not everyone) guarding our heart for the wrong reason, like the examples stated initially.

We are all humans, full of curiosity towards one another since the day we are born, but 'trying' so hard to guard our own heart that sometimes we ourselves are not ourselves anymore...

p/s:It's just a thought... it might not be right partially.
